John M. GiordanoOf Counsel
John Giordano is of counsel to Rich Intelisano & Katz, LLP, and has been practicing real estate and commercial law in New York for over 30 years. He has broad experience representing clients in a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and financings. He has extensive expertise in the negotiation of commercial leases, having represented both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters. He has negotiated leases for, among other things, corporate offices, retail stores, medical clinics, banks, restaurants, television studios, franchises and health clubs. Mr. Giordano also has represented clients in the acquisition and sale of real estate and attendant financing, primarily on behalf of developers and building owners in transactions involving commercial buildings, multi-family buildings with commercial space, and vacant properties that were acquired for the purposes of development. Mr. Giordano represents clients in corporate and commercial matters including stock and asset purchases and sales, corporate governance matters, negotiation and drafting of shareholder, limited liability company and partnership agreements.
Mr. Giordano also has extensive experience in real estate and commercial litigation involving contract, real property, cooperative and condominium, and corporate disputes on behalf of various businesses, developers, building owners and tenants.
Mr. Giordano received his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ithaca College. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, as well as the United States District Court in the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of New York.
